Did we need further evidence that this has been Adele’s year sales-wise? Probably not. But for the benefit of anyone still debating the matter, iTunes has just announced that the British singer’s track “Rolling in the Deep” was the year’s top downloaded song while its parent album, 21, was 2011′s most popular collection. iTunes also named Adele its Artist of the Year.
21 was followed on the album list by Mumford & Sons’ Sigh No More and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV. LMFAO claimed second place on the singles list with “Party Rock Anthem” while Katy Perry’s “Firework” was third.

The 2011 Z100 Jingle Ball brought the best of the best in the music business out for one memorable night of good times. LMFAO were just one of the many performers who took the stage throughout the evening at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden.
During their performance Friday night (Dec. 9), LMFAO performed their hit song ‘Shots,’ which became one of the highlights of the event for many of the fans in attendance. The flashing lights, high-octane stage presence and flashing wardrobe kept the fans on their feet throughout the delivery.

Since triple threat mogul Beyonce announced that she was expecting her first child with fellow entertainer Jay Z, many of her fans have been left wondering just when she intends to get into the studio and record her fifth album.
With the critical acclaim her R&B driven LP ‘4‘ is receiving, there are some who are hoping its follow up follows suit.

This is a new couple alert of a different sort. Lady Gaga confirmed that she will be doing a jazz album with crooner and frequent collaborator Tony Bennett, with whom she sang ‘The Lady Is a Tramp’ and who sketched her in her birthday suit. Bennett was her date to the private inauguration event, where she performed for White House Staff, and she shared a new photo from the festivities.
Looking like a futuristic bride in her white dress with poufy, adorned sleeves — don’t those look like eyeballs or some sort of aliens protruding from her shoulders? — and dramatic, blunt bangs, a look that she rocked early in her career, Gaga poses beautifully in this black and white shot, with that arm candy known as Bennett.

A deadly fire broke out at nightclub in Southern Brazil early Sunday (Jan. 27), killing 232 people.
Sources, like the L.A. Times, indicate that a flare, which was part of an onstage pyro display, set the roof of the now-decimated club Kiss, located in Santa Maria near the Uruguay and Argentina borders, on fire. Other sources, like CNN, said that the club was over capacity by double, with 2,000 people inside the venue meant to accommodate 1,000.
Sadly, 232 victims perished due to asphyxiation and smoke inhalation, according the authorities.
“There are so many bodies that we couldn’t get all the way to the back of the nightclub,” Lieutenant Moisés da Silva Fuchs said. How heartbreaking!

If there is a degree of certainty when it comes to falsehoods, then 1 million percent false is pretty much guaranteed, right? That’s how false Max George of the Wanted claims those pesky Lindsay Lohan dating rumors are. Okay, so they’re not dating. Or so he says.
Fans began asking the singer if he was dating the fallen actress, who makes headlines for hanging out with Lady Gaga and the fact that she used to act and is now a washed up tabloid spectacle.
Now, it’s worth noting that she has followed the band around and reportedly met George’s parental units.
